Service Agreement
Please read this agreement before using PocketLink. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to it and the Apple terms that apply to the App.
Scope and acceptance
This agreement is between you and the PocketLink developer or seller identified on the App Store product page. It applies to the PocketLink iOS app and related website content. Apple is not a party to this Service Agreement.
The App license is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). If this agreement conflicts with the Apple Standard EULA on an App licensing matter, the applicable Apple terms control. Do not use the App if you disagree.
Limited license and eligibility
Subject to this agreement and Apple's terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control. Family Sharing and volume purchase rights, if any, are governed by Apple's terms.
You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement. If you use PocketLink for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
Purpose and your responsibilities
PocketLink helps record clients, follow-ups, and reminders. It does not replace professional judgment, organizational data governance, legally required recordkeeping, or backups. You decide what to enter, when to contact a client, and how to use any output.
You must have a lawful basis and appropriate authority for personal information you enter, import, sync, or share, and provide notices, obtain consent, or meet other legal requirements where required.
Prohibited conduct
Except where applicable law expressly permits it, you must not:
- Use PocketLink to violate privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights, or for unlawful, fraudulent, or harassing activity.
- Access another person's device, iCloud, Feishu Base, credentials, or client data without authorization.
- Bypass purchase verification, security controls, or client limits, or interfere with the operation of the App, Apple, Feishu, or their networks.
- Copy, rent, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or modify the App, except as allowed by an open-source license or mandatory law.
Data modes and third-party accounts
On-device mode uses SwiftData as the primary source by default, with optional iCloud snapshot sync. After Feishu is connected, Feishu Base becomes the sole primary source and SwiftData is an on-device cache. You are responsible for your Apple ID, enterprise Feishu custom app, Base permissions, and credential security.
PocketLink does not guarantee continuing availability of third-party services and does not control their policies, regions, fees, or API changes. Apple, iCloud, Feishu, Vercel, and other providers apply their own terms.
Import, export, migration, and backup
Keep a usable backup before importing, clearing, switching sources, or performing other important actions, and confirm that a JSON source is trustworthy. A local import replaces current local data. A Feishu import updates or adds records by stable ID without automatically deleting existing Feishu records.
The App provides migration previews and safer paths, but sync interruption, third-party permission changes, device loss, or user error may still cause delay, conflict, or data loss. Keep an independent backup and verify that exported files are usable.
Free edition and PocketLink Premium
The free edition supports up to 30 clients, with follow-ups, reminders, search, editing, and JSON export. PocketLink Premium is offered through the App Store as a non-consumable in-app purchase. It is a one-time purchase, not an auto-renewing subscription.
After purchase and StoreKit verification, Premium unlocks unlimited clients, iCloud sync, unlimited JSON imports, and Feishu connection. The App Store shows the actual price, currency, and tax at purchase. “Lifetime” means the non-consumable entitlement remains associated with the relevant Apple ID while the App is supported; it is not a promise that the App or third-party services will exist forever.
Payment, restoration, refunds, and revocation
Apple handles payment, billing, Family Sharing eligibility, purchase restoration, and refunds under its rules. You can use Restore Purchases in the App to read valid entitlements for the current Apple ID again.
If Apple refunds, revokes, or invalidates a transaction, Premium access stops. Existing on-device data is not proactively deleted and remains available to view, edit, and export. When needed, the App guides you to move iCloud or Feishu data back on device. Submit refund requests to Apple.
Updates, availability, and support
We may update the App for security, compatibility, legal requirements, or product improvements and may adjust free limits or Premium features, but we will not convert the same non-consumable entitlement you purchased into an auto-renewing subscription. Some updates may require a newer iOS version or third-party API.
We work to keep PocketLink reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation or compatibility with every device and third-party configuration. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Use the App Support link on the App Store product page for help.
Intellectual property and feedback
PocketLink software, interfaces, branding, graphics, and website content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You keep any rights you lawfully hold in your client records and exported data.
If you voluntarily provide ideas or feedback, you agree that we may use them to improve the product without identifying you, disclosing client data, or paying compensation. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties not expressly stated. PocketLink is not legal, financial, sales, or compliance advice. You are responsible for business decisions, client communications, and the legality of your data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, or loss of profit, goodwill, or data caused by devices, third-party services, credentials, sync, or backup failure. Consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited remain unaffected.
Suspension, termination, and export compliance
If you materially breach this agreement, abuse the service, or create a security or legal risk, we may stop support, restrict affected features, or terminate the license to the extent reasonably necessary. After termination, stop using the App. You remain responsible for saving exportable local data and handling data in third-party accounts with those providers.
You must not use or export the App in violation of United States or other applicable sanctions and export-control laws, and you confirm that you are not on an applicable prohibited-party list.
Applicable law, changes, and contact
This agreement is subject to mandatory laws applicable to the developer, you, and the transaction, together with Apple's terms. Try to resolve disputes in good faith through the App support channel first. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer or data-protection rights in your location.
We may update this agreement when the product, law, or providers change. Material changes will be described on the website, in the App, or in App Store release notes. Continued use of the updated service means you accept the new terms that apply. For support or legal questions, contact the developer through the App Support link on the App Store product page.
