Privacy Policy

Scope and responsible party

This policy applies to the PocketLink iOS app (the “App”) and the official PocketLink website. The data controller/service provider is the PocketLink developer or seller identified on the App Store product page. You can contact us through the App Support link on that page.

If you use PocketLink for an organization, that organization will usually decide what client data is entered and how it is used. You must also follow its policies and applicable law.

Data the App may process

PocketLink processes only data you choose to enter, import, or configure to provide client follow-up, reminders, sync, backup, and team collaboration.

• Client data, such as name, city, relationship, background, concerns, industry, revenue range, status, tags, notes, and next follow-up time.
• Follow-up records, such as channel, details, key progress, next action, and related dates.
• Configuration and preferences, including custom field options, notification preferences, current data source, and sync settings.
• Feishu configuration you choose to provide, including App ID, App Secret, Base App Token, table ID, and field configuration.

Default on-device mode

Client records, follow-ups, and field options are stored on your device through SwiftData by default. On-device mode does not require a PocketLink account or send client data to a PocketLink server.

If you enable reminders, the App asks iOS for notification permission and schedules notifications on the device. Optional Face ID or Touch ID protection is performed by iOS; PocketLink does not receive biometric data.

Optional iCloud sync

When you enable iCloud, the App stores JSON data snapshots in your own iCloud container for sync and recovery across your Apple devices. Apple processes that cloud data under its terms and privacy policy.

In Feishu mode, Feishu remains the primary source; iCloud holds only an additional snapshot and does not overwrite Base. You can turn iCloud off in the App and manage cloud data through Apple ID and iCloud settings.

Optional direct Feishu Base connection

To connect Feishu, you must use an enterprise custom app and Base you are authorized to manage. The App calls Feishu Open Platform APIs directly from your iPhone. PocketLink does not collect or relay client data, your App ID, or App Secret through its own backend.

The App ID and App Secret stay in the iOS system Keychain on that device and are not written to iCloud snapshots or JSON backups. After connection, Feishu Base is the sole primary source and SwiftData is an on-device cache. Feishu processes data under your agreement with Feishu.

JSON import, export, and migration

You can export data as JSON and choose where to save or share it. Once an export leaves the App, you and the receiving service are responsible for protecting it. Import only backups from sources you trust.

An import replaces current local data in on-device mode. In Feishu mode, it updates or adds records by stable ID without automatically deleting existing Feishu records. Before switching sources, the App shows record counts on both sides and asks you to choose a migration direction.

Purchases and entitlement verification

Apple App Store processes Premium purchases. PocketLink does not receive your card number or complete payment details. The App uses StoreKit to read verified product and transaction information, determine whether lifetime access is valid, and respond to refunds or revocations.

Apple may process account, payment, tax, device, and transaction information under its terms and privacy policy.

Website access data

The website has no account registration, contact form, or online purchase and does not include advertising, cross-site tracking, or product analytics scripts. On a first visit, it reads the language preference sent by your browser to choose the interface language. After you switch manually, it uses one necessary first-party cookie to remember that choice across the home page, Privacy Policy, and Service Agreement. We do not actively collect client data through the website.

To deliver pages, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot failures, hosting and network providers such as Vercel may process ordinary technical logs, including IP address, browser/device type, request time, and requested path, under their own policies.

Disclosure, third-party services, and international processing

PocketLink does not sell client data or use it for advertising. Data reaches Apple iCloud, Apple App Store, or Feishu Base only when required by a feature you choose, while hosting and network providers process data needed to serve the website.

Those providers may process data outside your location. The actual region, legal basis, and safeguards depend on your Apple or Feishu account region, organization settings, and provider arrangements. Confirm that an optional service meets your legal and organizational requirements before enabling it.

Retention and deletion

On-device data remains until you clear it in the App, delete the relevant records, or uninstall the App. Keychain items can be affected by iOS behavior, so use the App's clearing action when disconnecting Feishu. You manage iCloud snapshots, Feishu records, and exported JSON files through the relevant account or storage location.

A refund or purchase revocation stops Premium capabilities but does not proactively delete existing on-device client data. You can continue to view, edit, and export local data and follow the App's guidance to move safely back from an optional source.

Your rights and controls

Subject to applicable law, you may request information about, access, correct, copy, or delete personal data and withdraw permission for optional features. PocketLink primarily provides these controls directly in the product:

• View, edit, or delete client and follow-up records in the App.
• Export a JSON copy at any time or clear on-device data.
• Turn off notifications or iCloud, or disconnect Feishu and clear local credentials.
• Use Apple ID, iCloud, or Feishu controls for data and permissions held by those providers.

Security, children, and policy changes

PocketLink uses mechanisms such as the iOS sandbox, system Keychain, optional biometric protection, and verified StoreKit transactions to reduce risk, but no storage or transmission method is perfectly secure. Protect your device, Apple ID, Feishu app secrets, and exported files.

PocketLink is intended for people managing business relationships and is not designed for children to collect other people's client data. Do not enter a minor's information without appropriate authority or guardian consent.

We may update this policy when features, law, or providers change. Material changes will be described on the website, in the App, or in App Store release notes; the date above identifies the current version.
